Harisch
Studios was founded in 1946 by Siegfried Harisch, a German
immigrant who came to New York in 1925. Located in the
heart of Ridgewood at the same location since then, Harisch
Studios has continued in the same family. Siegfried's son
(also Siegfried, but we call him Ziggy) and his wife, Susan,
have been photographing people throughout the metropolitan
area, and continue to work at the studio. Their son-in-law,
Mark Moss, joined them full time in 1998, working with
them to continue to grow the studio.
From
individual families who have been coming to our studios
for generations, to local schools and churches that use
our services year after year, to major area corporations
that have found our family style business to be one that
suits them, Harisch Studios has been providing imaging
needs for generations of New Yorkers.
Come
in to see more of our work, or to discuss your photographic
needs.

Harisch
Studios prides itself on being a family business, and maintaining
the personal touch that is too often gone in today's world of
mega-stores. We know many of our customers by first name,
have met their families, and have celebrated many of their special
moments as their photographer and as their friends.
When
a new customer talks to us about their needs, we tend to ask
a lot of questions. We want to make sure that before we proceed,
we know what it is you are looking for as the end product.
We want you to become one of our returning customers.
It's
an approach that has proven successful since 1946. We hope to
continue for another few generations.
